Domino’s New Zealand celebrates 150th store by giving customers 150 chances to win!

Domino’s will commemorate the opening of its 150^th store in New Zealand on Wednesday 14 December 2022 with a ‘Golden Slice’ giveaway.

The milestone store – located in Orewa – will be opened in true Domino’s style, with FREE* pizza and up to $5,000 in prizes up for grabs*.

From 12pm – 1pm, the store will be giving away FREE Hot & Fresh pizzas to lucky customers, with 150 of those pizza boxes featuring a hidden “Golden Slice” with the opportunity to win.

Prizes up for grabs range from Choc Lava Cakes, Garlic Bread and Large pizzas to $150 Domino’s vouchers, and even a year’s worth of FREE pizza.

The opening will be marked by a special visit and ribbon-cutting ceremony by Domino’s executives from Australia and New Zealand, including Domino’s ANZ CEO David Burness.

Newly appointed New Zealand General Manager Daniel Hawkins said he is excited to celebrate this milestone achievement.

“This is an incredible milestone for the Domino’s brand in New Zealand,” said Mr Hawkins.

“The first Domino’s store in New Zealand was opened in Johnsonville in 2003 by Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd (DPE). Now, with more than 3,600 DPE stores across the globe, we are thrilled to be growing the brand in New Zealand with the opening of our 150^th store.

“This store opening represents our commitment to providing high-quality meals for great value to all communities across New Zealand, and we look forward to continuing to grow by opening even more stores closer to our customers.”

Domino’s Orewa franchisee Vikas Saroa said he is proud to expand his store network with the opening of Domino’s Orewa and is excited to be marking such a special occasion with a ‘cheesy’ giveaway.

“Not only is opening Domino’s New Zealand’s 150^th store a very exciting moment in Domino’s history, but it’s a great opportunity to reach more customers and provide hot, fresh meals to my local community,” said Mr Saroa.

“Additionally, Domino’s is a people-first business, and our stores are a great place to gain important life skills and grow both as an individual and professionally.
