Two of Domino’s most popular Pizza’s now available in Plant-based

Domino’s is today expanding its award-winning plant-based range – introducing four new pizzas that are sure to put some ‘pepp’ in your step!

Kiwis can now go ham for plant-based Hawaiian, plant-based Ham and Cheese, plant-based Supreme and plant-based Pepperoni.

This expansion follows the success of Domino’s plant-based beef which was released in October.

Domino’s New Zealand General Manager Cameron Toomey said the new plant-based toppings reflect the Company’s commitment to delivering pizzas everyone can enjoy.

“Introducing iconic toppings such as ham and pepperoni to our plant-based range means our customers have more choice than ever before,” he said.

“We’ve scoured the globe for partners who can deliver this – a plant-based pepperoni has long-been considered the ‘holy grail’ – it’s a signature of pizzas around the world and loved for its unique and delicious flavour.

“Now vegans, vegetarians and flexitarians alike can enjoy some of our most popular menu items.

“We’ve been delighted to hear that it’s not just customers who avoid animal-based products enjoying our plant-based range, but also those with specific health, religious, allergen and dietary requirements.

“We are proud of our new plant-based toppings, which are made in Australia specially for Domino’s, and are just as tasty and affordable as the real deal.

“We will continue to listen to feedback and give our customers more of what they love!”

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) recently recognised Domino’s for its plant-based range, awarding the Vegan Taco Fiesta ‘Best Vegan Pizza’ in Australia at its inaugural 2019 Australia Vegan Food Awards.

Domino’s entire plant-based range will be available in all Domino’s stores across New Zealand from 9 December 2019.
